WHO'S GEORGE GOLDSTONE?

George made an impact on everyone he met. He was a loving son, devoted husband, loyal friend and lawyer. To many that knew him, George was an awesome basketball player and coach too (check out some of the images below to see George in action).

In 2015, soon after he was married, George was diagnosed with terminal cancer. In 2016, despite battling as hard as possible, George passed away aged 32.

THE TOURNAMENT

George loved the game of basketball. In his honour, the GG3v3 charity tournament has been created; a celebration of George and what he stood for: competition, drive, loyalty, teamwork, leadership. George was a great organiser of charity events, so this tournament also represents that side of his life: generosity and a belief in doing the right thing.

THE CHARITIES

Chai Cancer Care and Macmillan Cancer Support are great charities that do a LOT in the world of cancer support. With the money we raise, people will get the very best mental and physical cancer aid, something that George received and that many others suffering from cancer should get. No-one should have to go through it alone and without expert help. Click on the homepage and their logos for more information on  each charity.
