A GG3x3 DAY IN THE LIFE OF:

A GG3x3 Slam Dunk Contest Champion

London local Michael Ballou can JUMP.  As one of four dunkers, Michael took part in the GG3x3 2018 Slam Dunk Contest and killed it! Check out some of the photos and images from the day on this page and on the social pages too (click here for IG and here for FB).

Reasons to be  part of the GG3x3 Dunk Contest!

It was a great honour to represent the Ivory Coast and be invited considering I didn’t know much about the GG3X3 at first.

I was asked to enter because two dunkers pulled out last minute, so I came in as an emergency participant after winning The Ballout dunk contest a week before that. I felt like I had to accept to prove to myself that I was a worthy winner.

I am very proud to be a part of GG3X3 because I have never really done much for charity before. When I found out from Martin the story behind the charity and how it came to be, I felt like I had to show my support and enter this competition. Even if I don’t compete again I will always feel a part of GG3X3.

Reasons to be  part of the GG3x3 Dunk Contest!

During the contest I had so much adrenaline going through me considering who the judges were. As they were both known globally and nationally, I felt like I had to show what I could do to the best of my ability. And winning would be a bonus.

It was really special to win! I felt very proud and after the contest, I liked the fact that the judges were very supportive and encouraging.

I look forward to seeing the future of the GG3X3!
